In 2019, the National Atheneum in Iași initiated a project to clean and green the ski slope in Sărărie Street, a place for both winter sports, in the cold season, and outdoor festivals. This project was aimed at making the inhabitants of Iași responsible and also at raising awareness about protecting nature and cultural leisure locations.
The project took place on 30 March 2019 and was very popular. In addition to the many partners who joined the cause, we enjoyed the support of over 150 volunteers of all ages, who cleaned the entire ski slope and the surrounding areas.
