2020
The second edition of the Lăpușneanu Street Festival, held between 18 and 20 September 2020, pursued the efforts of reviving the old Serbian Street, the current Lăpușeanu Street, by holding artistic events with Atheneum partners and residents on the street.
The second edition was somehow limited by the pandemic and the number of participants was restricted. Even so, over 1000 people enjoyed the plays, music recitals, exhibitions and guided tours of the liveliest festival in Iași.
2019
The Lăpușneanu Street Festival – Inaugural Edition, held between 20 and 22 September 2019, aimed to revive the old Serbian Street, the current Lăpușeanu Street.
The aim of this project was to create, together with representatives of public and private entities operating on the old Serbian Street, a unique cultural-artistic event that will amaze with diversity and delight with the quality of artistic acts. The whole project was based on the cooperation between public or private institutions, public authorities, representatives of private institutions, non-governmental organizations and the civil society in Iași.
Thus, during the 3 days of the festival, the people of Iași were able to enjoy over 70 events, for all tastes and all ages. From concerts, to open-air plays and films, treasure hunts or contests, cakes and coffee, exhibitions and artists in full creative process, interactive and demonstrative happenings, zumba or capoeira shows and many other activities have given color and revived the famous street.
