The history of royal jewelry, as well as other precious metal pieces of historical value, has been metamorphic, with the political regime and legislation shaping their way. The memory of Queen Maria’s jewelry can also be found in vintage photographs, drawings from the 1900 inventory, but also in a series of documents such as jewelry lists from 1902, correspondence, invoices, wills or other documents. Many of Maria’s jewels were lost in Bolshevik Russia, only a few have been preserved, some are exhibited by the museum, others came into the possession of the family after the queen’s death, their fate being identified with that of the heirs. From the old images survived the spirit of a princess, then queen, owner of a beautiful collection of jewelry, from Victorian style to Theodora style, from an Art Nouveau impregnated by its special personality to Art Deco fashion much simplified, dominated in the last part of life of pearls and diamonds.

“What words, random or chosen, can contain the earthly history of a man? None.

What words can measure the length, the width, the height, the talent, the zeal, the fear, the fear, the sayings and the unspeakable of a human composition in its quest to fulfill its purpose? None.

All the more difficult when it comes to an actor. And it seems even harder when it comes to a great actor: George Mihaita.

The rest is silence.”

Horatiu Mataele

“When it comes to George, I think of my grandfather when he was getting a lot of wheat:” It’s great wealth, children, take it and eat it. But see how you do it, don’t waste it. ”

A word before Cristian Leonte

It is a book that we open with optimism, we want inspiration for those who want to do good and model for all those who see too many dark tones in the future of Romania.
